Abstract
An experimental setup is being completed on an optical bench to verify the virtual wavefront sensor concept proposed for AO systems on future giant telescopes. Two deformable mirrors are employed to model a scaled 10-m optical telescope. First experimental results of AO correction usin g virtual wavefront sensing are presented.
