Abstract
A 59-year-old woman presents with a 2-day history of a painful, swollen, discoloured left leg. There is no evidence of venous gangrene, compartment syndrome or arterial compromise. A venous duplex scan shows an extensive left iliofemoral deep vein thrombosis. What immediate management and investigations would you instigate?.
