Abstract

This book outlines an ecological model of burnout and how organisational, therapist, client and extra-organisational factors impact on the development of and maintenance of burnout in female Irish Trauma therapists. The study took place across five years and included three separate research studies. The authors finally discuss an ecological model to address how therapists and researchers might protect against burnout in the future.
