Abstract

It has been pointed out to us by J. Thorne (Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, University of Oxford) that the analysis of direct process broadening which we used in our paper [1] on the luminescence of Cr³⁺ ions in ED-2 silicate glass is incorrect. We present a correct analysis here.
