Abstract

A laboratory experiment is presented as one complete boardmounted power conversion system through which a student of power engineering is introduced. An overview is given of the laboratory exercises involved, circuit diagrams and analysis thereof, some considerations on the switching losses, component losses and overall efficiency of the converter system, and the PSPICE simulations and experimental converter waveforms.
