Abstract

This paper proposes the use of the Draw andTell Technique as an appropriate method ofdata collection with young children. Findingsfrom research that utilises this techniquecan be used to inform future practices andpolicies in the area of Early Childhood Careand Education. Research in the past treatedchildren as passive objects and any knowledgepertaining to children and their experienceswas elicited through adult observations,interpretations and reports
