Abstract
Existence of solutions to the nonlinear boundary value problem on the semi-infinite interval 1/p-(py′)′ = qf(t, y, py′), 0< t < ∞, y(0) = 0, y(t) bounded on [0, ∞), are established. In the process we obtain new existence results for boundary value problems on compact intervals.
