Abstract

Phytosociological analysis shows that reedswamp, characterised by Phragmites australis, oligotrophic littoral species (Littorelletea) and small sedges and other plants of rheotrophic habitats (Caricion nigrae) are well represented. Also found is the Caricion davallianae, with Carex lepidocarpa, and the Rhynchosporion albae, of which Carex limosa is diagnostic. -P.J.Jarvis
