Abstract
A new existence result is presented for the (p, n- p) conjugate boundary value problem ( - 1)(n-p) y((n)) = h(t, y), 0 t 1 with y((i))(0) = 0, 0 less than or equal to i less than or equal to p - 1, and y((i))(1) = 0, 0 less than or equal to i less than or equal to n - p - 1. Our nonlinearity h may be singular at y = 0, t = 0, and or t = 1. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
