Abstract

I. PREHOSPITAL COMMUNICATION WITH TRAUMA TEAM A. Prearrival Communication between prehospital providers and hospital-based trauma teams is essential to optimize care in the critically injured trauma patient. Clearly, long, drawn-out reports take precious time away from patient management, therefore radio reports in the field and patient turnover reports at the hospital must be succinct and contain the key elements needed to facilitate continued patient care and further evaluation.
