Abstract
A novel municipal wastewater treatment technology, suitable for centralised and decentralised wastewater treatment, was operated at full-scale (150 PE) for an 80 day study where average removals of 97% BOD5, 95% SS and 81% ammonium-nitrogen (NH4-N) were achieved. The average energy consumption was 16 kWh dayor about 0.6 kWh m3 treated.
