Abstract
We demonstrate the prototyping and series production of an 8-channel micro-lens array with an integrated 45 degrees micro-mirror as an out-of-plane coupling optical interconnect component, to interface an optical waveguide array embedded in a photonic integrated circuit with a single-mode fiber ribbon.
