Abstract

Magdalene Institutions: Recording an Oral and Archival History is a Government of Ireland Collaborative Research Project funded by the Irish Research Council which was led by Associate Professor Katherine ODonnell at University College Dublin, with contributions by Claire McGettrick, Maeve ORourke, James M Smith and others. The Magdalene Oral History Project archive contains 84 transcripts (from 97 interviewees). The interviews and archival documents are available to the public through UCD Archives, the Irish Qualitative Data Archive and through the Justice for Magdalenes Research website.
