Abstract

Intracoronary streptokinase was infused to 152 randomly selected patients after acute myocardial infarction (MI). Control group consisted of 150 randomly selected patients after MI who were treated by conventional methods. Preliminary results indicate several beneficial effects of early reperfusion with intracoronary streptokinase.
