141 essays under six themes (Epistemology; Science; History; Process; Art; Governance) issuing from a UNISCAPE -ENSA Paris-La Villette conference. The book includes abstracts of five keynote addresses given by A. Berque, T. Kuwako, B. Lassus P. Misikova and K Yu (these will be developed into a special volume of essays to be published in 2014) and an editors introduction.The focus of the conference was on the challenge for educators presented by the internationalisation of landscape practitioners in the context of the tension between globalisation and local distinctiveness.The book is available from UNISCAPE (Florence) and can be downloaded in PDF.
