Abstract

Originally introduced as the Keeping Families in their Homes Bill 2017, this Act amends the Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2013 to provide for the procedure to be followed in certain legal proceedings to which section 2 of that Act applies; and to provide for related matters. The legislation introduces a proportionality assessment into Irish law on mortgage repossessions.
