Abstract
Businesses working with universities are in an optimal position to overcome perceived barriers to the uptake of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) for Business and Industry. This paper sets out case study evidence within a particular framework for such university-industry partnerships, to support this assertion, and suggests that the framework in question could with minimal development become an even better vehicle for encouraging such uptake, and an example for other EU countries to follow.Businesses working with universities are in an optimal position to overcome perceived barriers to the uptake of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) for Business and Industry.
