Abstract

We present results of neural network inversions of normal-incidence, single-channel seismic profiling data for sediment physical and acoustic properties of unconsolidated seabed sediments. The inversion is based on a comprehensive Biot theory-derived acoustic model for a binary grain-size sphere pack sediment structural model.
