Abstract

A variety of fuzzy fixed point theorems for contractive type maps were examined. The theory was derived from results related to multivalued contractive maps with closed values. A local version of the Heilpern's fuzzy fixed point theorem was used to obtain generalizations of the Heilpern's theorem. Nonlinear alternatives of Leray-Schauder type for fuzzy contractive and fuzzy nonexpansive maps were also presented.
