Abstract
If it were possible to quantify freedom, it is almost certain that this is something we would want more of rather than less of. But what kind of freedom is available to us in contemporary Ireland, and do we really want more of the same? This contribution to the Síreacht series adopts a critical perspective by examining how the practice of freedom has become a zero-sum game of power that generates social suffering by instituting an equality of inequality. In responding to this situation, Two Fuse look to collaborative and creative practice with a view to exploring possibilities to reimagine the practice of freedom.
