Abstract

Two sharp magnetic dipole, no-phonon, no-magnon lines are observed in absorption in RbMnF3 along with a suggested magnon sideband. At applied magnetic fields along the [001] direction which exceed the critical field, the spectrum is uniaxial with the unique axis along the [001] direction.
