Abstract

Thresholding is one of main research areas in Image processing. Many Approaches are used for thresholding in which Tsai technique is the most popular. This paper implements and improves on gamma distribution moment preserving using derivation for optimal threshold. The results achieved by proposed technique are more promising than previous work done. Our method uses moment preserving by applying gamma distribution.
