Fantastic DNA in a Box

This classroom kit can be used in the classroom by either teacher on their own or under the mentorship of Cell Explorers scientists. It suits the usual Fantastic DNA demographic: primary school pupils (5th to 6th class) or post-primary school students (1st year to 3rd year) but will work for slightly younger or older children. Originally designed during the 2020 pandemic to be used asynchronously by teacher or online with the Cell Explorers scientists, the box can also be used with Cell Explorers scientists visiting the classroom or in other setting (for example schools visiting a specific setting or visiting youth groups). Derivatives of the kit described above have been generated (Fantastic DNA at Home - see picture below) to be used with families in online workshops, or any similar context.
