Abstract

This paper describes the development of a system for mapping the features of the human face to sound. In order to determine how best to express these qualities, magnitude estimation experiments are performed with young 0 visually impaired students. The data dimensions used are overall head ratio (as a size measure) and distance between key facial features. The display dimensions are frequency and tempo.
