EU Credit Servicers Directive - impact on consumer and housing rights protection in Ireland.

Research output: Book/ReportCommissioned Reportpeer-review

Abstract

The Report is based on a Submission to the Irish Minister for Finance highlighting the potential impact of the Directive which will create an EU-wide secondary market for loans in arrears over 90 days - NPLs. The impact on the existing corpus of Irish consumer and housing rights legislation and practice must be recognised in the transposition of the Directive, and in the operation of the EU-wide secondary market for NPLs.
