Abstract

In [1], the legend and caption of Fig. 8, mislabeled as VC 1G 300 Hz, has been corrected in the figure below as PZT 1G 50 Hz. The following sentence is also amended: “The sensitivity Fig. 8. Comparison of the APA in TD mode and MR-OCT mode at about 950 Hz versus results of a first generation MR-OCT PZT actuator (PZT 1G) at 50 Hz [1]. The roll-off for the TD mode of the APA spans about 200 μm as specified at resonance from about 110 dB sensitivity. To allow proper placement of the PM, the scan range was reduced, by operating off resonance, which resulted in a lower sensitivity. Notwithstanding, the sensitivity of the APA matches that of a first generation PZT at three times the scan speed. Due to the large scan range at resonance it was not possible to optimally place the PM and actuation at reduced scan ranges caused reduction of sensitivity. A comparison of TD, APA and PZT 1G based MR-OCT sensitivity measurements in terms of axial range and order number. PZT 1G corresponds to the first generation of MR-OCT. of the APA was compared for the TD and MR-OCT versus a piezoelectric transducer (PZT) based system at 50 Hz (Fig. 8).”(Figure Presented).
