Addresses the issue of explaining diversity in marketing practice in
competitive space and over time. Examination of diversity in strategic
behavior using typology of strategy-structure configurations developed
by R. E. Miles and C.C. Snow; Case studies supporting diversity in
marketing practice linked to strategic types; Evolutionary concepts as
applied to diversity in marketing practice over time.
