Abstract
For this 15th Anniversary Special Issue of Policy and Practice, I was asked to select 3 pieces on the theme of Human Rights from the past 10 issues of Policy and Practice. All three articles I have chosen come from Issue 25, a special themed issue on Human Rights, published in Autumn 2017.
My first thought was to choose Brian Ruanes Editorial for the Special Issue. It was the last piece he wrote, so it seems fitting that this commemorative occasion is used to reflect upon, and honour, his contribution as a loved and highly-regarded member of the development education and human rights education community on the island of Ireland.
