Abstract

This case note covers the 2021 decision of the UK Supreme Court, which examined the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) and their failure to investigate further evidence in the “Hooded Men” torture case. Background The matters before the court related to distressing events which took place between 1971 and 1972 in the midst of the Troubles.
