Abstract

A new study has revealed how the Covid-19 pandemic highlighted inequalities in the treatment of womens sports. Published two weeks ago, Exposing force: the Covid-19 pandemic and womens sport in Ireland during 20202021 is the work of Dr Sen Crosson of the University of Galway and independent researcher Maedhbh N Chumhaill and uses data largely gathered from women footballers and camogie players.
