Abstract

The lanes of the immunoblot showing the interaction between the Whi5 GTB motif and Swi6 were intentionally duplicated in panels B and C to allow comparison between samples. To clarify this, the legend should be changed as follows. In line 5, "and. . . SWI6ΔC cell extracts" should read "from whole-cell extracts (WCE) from strains expressing wild-type SWI6 or SWI6ΔC. Those strains also carried SWI4-TAP or MBP1-TAP, respectively (see panel C)." In line 7, "and" should read "from." In lines 7 and 8, "cell extracts" should read "strains. The Swi6 data from panel B are duplicated in the SWI4-TAP lanes to allow direct comparison with the other samples. All samples shown in panels B and C were derived from the same SDS-PAGE gel." These changes do not affect the conclusions derived from this experiment.
