Abstract

Some principles of cognitive rehabilitation are described and the literature on the rehabilitation of various cognitive impairments is reviewed. The growing use of computers is recognised and the many advantages of using computers within this area are outlined. The literature on computer-assisted cognitive rehabilitation is presented and appraised. Advice in the selection of equipment and software is offered.
