Abstract

The United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (`CRPD Committee) was established under Article 34 Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (`CRPD). It is one of ten United Nations (`UN) treaty bodies (Human Rights, Treaty Bodies). The CRPD Committee held its first session in 2008.
