Abstract
The predominantly urgent task of health care system in disasters is triage of injured and provide life support to those who need immediate medical attention at the scene of the accident, and safely transport them to the health centers for further intervention. Triage is particularly important process in large disasters. Health personnel must use time, equipment and materials effectively. These resources should only be used for those injured and in dire need of immediate intervention. This project proposes the use of e-triage technology to collect and maintain crucial information such as health status of the patients, their assigned hospitals, their locations, triage code, the per son who made triage, etc. The aim of the proposed technology is to accelerate the provided health care services and their quality to prevent bottle-necks at hospitals for patient care, and to assist the coordination of the health care team.
