Abstract
Very dear friend: Since London I was immersed in working hard and without interruption, impossible to decide to write letters! In a month I will be in Paris and so I will send you immediately the photo of the portrait (very exquisite) that I am making of Froid, I think of displaying this portrait in America in my next exhibition at the beginning of 1939, after which I am going to send the original to Froid as a gift; I look at Froid with such intensity and with a real desire to seize everything that I think it one of my best pictures-Lots of wasters/rejects [?] have asked me for the right of reproduction but I want to wait until my exhibition takes place. Would you convey my most unconditional greetings to the Professor and you, dear friend, receive all the sincere friendship of your Salvador Dalf. I would be grateful if you would send me the address of Froid so that I can write to him and thank him-thank you.
