Abstract

Though there were not as many publications on eighteenth-century drama in 2023 as in some previous years, this year’s work is particularly noteworthy for interdisciplinarity, international scope, innovative methodologies and new archival research. Little-read texts have been brought to light and the canon reinvigorated by new critical perspectives.
