Abstract
Most populations undergo multiple-factor limitation. This raises the question of whether the different factors combine additively or interactively. Results of two factorial experiments involving Drosophila melanogaster are presented, one based on a series of resource variables, the second includes presence/absence of a natural enemy. Results of the first experiment show widespread interactive effects. In the second there is a general lack of interaction. -from Authors
