Abstract
The use of Agile approaches for software development has hugely increased in popularity, with Scrum being the most commonly used. However, not all organisations have a smooth transition to Agile, with people related issues particularly acting as barriers to successful implementation. Ensuring students have a good understanding of how to effectively implement Agile approaches can help to remove some of these barriers when they enter the workplace. This paper describes an active learning workshop that effectively teaches students how Scrum should be implemented.
