Abstract

A research was carried out to identify the current practice of multimedia software development methods in Ireland. The top 1,000 Irish companies in general industry and the principal 100 Irish companies in the multimedia industry were examined. Results suggest that no uniform approach exists to multimedia systems development and that practitioners aren't using the multimedia models cited in the literature.
