Abstract
A detailed analysis of gravity and magnetic data suggests the proximity of major zones of mineralization to major faults, near the margins of upstanding Caledonide volcanic blocks. From this it is concluded that orebodies form by dewatering of adjacent sandstone or shale-filled troughs.-R.E.
