Received the 2013 Teagasc Staff Excellence Award for demonstrating Excellence in Research Award due to the success of the design and development of the International Bovine (Beef and Dairy) SNP Chip which was the foundation of our national genomic selection breeding in Ireland which received international recognition. Still in use today.
