University College Dublin The medal is awarded annually to the PhD student with the highest grade in research modules undertaken as part of UCD's structured PhD programme by business studies and human sciences students. The medal was awarded to Anna Louise Hinds' for her achievements in 'Approaches and Techniques in Qualitative Research', facilitated by Professor John Geary in UCD's Michael Smurfit Business School.
