The research, which comprised practice and non practice based interventions, concerned the Chiac dialect of Acadian French, which is a significantly hybridised with Canadian English and which has been shamed and maligned dialect in the past.
The research studies how Chiac has been recently reclaimed and re valued in positive terms by using digital media and an array of forms of artistic expression.
