Personal profile
Biography
I am a postdoctoral researcher in Statistics, working under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Simpkin. My current research focuses on functional data analysis for sensor technologies, developing statistical methods and prediction models for large and complex datasets. More broadly, my work lies in applied statistics and data science to support research across diverse disciplines, including medicine, engineering, and health sciences. Prior to this, I completed my PhD at the University of Manchester, UK in 2022, where my research focused on time series analysis and forecasting.
Research Interests
My research interests are in functional data analysis, time series analysis and applied statistics. I’m currently working on multivariate functional data, with the goal of developing new methods to estimate functional principal component analysis for the derivatives of multivariate functional data. For future research, I’m interested in functional time series analysis, which bridges the gap between traditional time series methods and functional data analysis.
