Biography
Stanley holds a PhD in Zoology and Environmental Biology, specialising in Fisheries Science and Aquaculture. He has received several academic and research awards, including the African‐German Network of Excellence in Science (AGNES), the Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellowship, and the Marie Skłodowska‐Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA‐PF). He currently serves on the editorial board of Reviews in Aquaculture. His research interests include aquaculture nutrition, alternative proteins, novel functional ingredients, fish toxicology, microplastics pollution. His current work focuses on optimising feed formulation through circular aquafeeds to enhance feed efficiency, improve production outcomes, and promote the sustainability of aquaculture systems. He is actively involved in several EU‐funded projects, including Smart Aqua4 Future (SAFE), Technological Revolution Towards an Agri‐Food Circular Economy (TRACE), and Building Digital Capacity for Innovation in Atlantic Aquaculture (DigiATLA).
