Biography

Stacey Scriver is a Lecturer in the School of Political Science and Sociology and Head of Discipline of Gender and Women's Studies at University of Galway.Staceys recent research has focused on the social consequences of gender-based violence, menstrual equity and the feminist ethics of research. Shehas worked on issues including political ideologies and identities, religion, conflict, and GBV through a feministgendered lens.

Research Interests

Stacey has worked on issues including political ideologies and identities, religion, conflict, and sexual violence and gender-based violence. Recent works have focused on the social impacts of violence against women and girls, menstrual equity, and feminist ethics of emotionally demanding research.

Teaching Interests

I have an interest in teaching across the fields of politics and sociology, as well as in social science research methods.
