Biography

Ruchika Tara Mathur is a researcher in Health Promotion with the School of Health Sciences at the University of Galway. She is an alum of Trinity College Dublin with an MSc in Development Practice, and of Lady Shri Ram College in New Delhi with a BA in Political Science. Ruchika has worked as a peer-educator and development practitioner with experience in reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH) and participatory, policy focused research in the non-profit sector. She has experience with various organisations such as the YP Foundation, PRIA, Ipas, Oxfam and the Population Council, as well as government bodies such NITI Aayog in India. Ruchika's work focuses on adolescent and youth participation in health service delivery and evaluation.
