Biography
RaisuL Sourav is a Doctoral Researcher at the School of Law, University of Galway, Ireland. RaisuL is presently researching the implications of the application of Large Language Models in Judicial Decision-making.
He is an Associate Professor (on leave) and former Chair, Department of Law, Dhaka International University (DIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. RaisuL is also an Advocate (Lawyer) at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
He holds a Master’s Degree in International Energy Law and Policy from the University of Stirling in the UK. He was a recipient of the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship in 2017-18. RaisuL regularly writes in academic journals, blogs and newspapers, and presents his research in reputed academic conferences.

1. Served as a consultant for a Research Project on Legal Analysis of Road Transport Act and Developing a Policy Brief Paper, funded by Addiction Management and Integrated Care, Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) in 2022.
2. Served as a consultant for a Research Project on Advocating for Improved Safe Road User Behaviour in Bangladesh, funded by BRAC in 2022.
3. Served as a consultant for a Research Project on Anti-Discrimination Law of Bangladesh, funded by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) in 2023.
