My research interests are in linear algebra and its interactions with such areas as combinatorics, representation theory, field theory, and finite group theory. Teaching Interests

All areas of mathematics at all levels from first year undergraduate to PhD. MOdules that I am teaching in the current year are listed below. Since moving to NUI Galway in 2005 I have taught a wide range of mathematical topics to students of Science, Arts and Engineering as well as to specialists in Mathematics. I have also taught our first year course through the Irish language on several occasions.
