Biography
I am the CTO for the Technology Services Directorate , managing the operations of the major core facilities on campus ; light microscopy, flow cytometry, Genomics and screening and Medical device prototyping. I have previously managed the a target=_blank rel=nofollow href=https:imaging.universityofgalway.ielight microscopy facility at the University of Galway.
Research Interests
Microscopy , Confocal Microscopy, Biosensors, nanoparticles, RamanTime resolved fluorescence methods (time domain and frequency domain).
Teaching Interests
I am interested in teaching the finer details and understanding of microscopy, in particular, the practical side ensuring that researchers are equipped to generate high quality data.
